Our Mission

The mission of the Architectural and Engineering Computer Aided Design program is to provide technologically advanced workforce education and training leading to certificates and degrees in the fields of technical graphics and computer aided design (CAD) to students and organizations within the Austin Community College District. The program is committed to achieving student performance that meets or exceeds the entry-level requirements of the design, manufacturing, and construction industries of the ACC service area.

Student Spotlight: Genevieve B.

We are thrilled to spotlight Genevieve B. as our first Architecture graduate accepted at the University of Texas Austin! Graduating with an Associate of Science (AS) in Architecture, Genevieve’s acceptance marks a milestone for our program’s growth. She had multiple offers but chose to stay close to ACC to continue mentoring and staying plugged in with our community. Congratulations, Genevieve, from all of us in A&E CAD—here’s to your continued success at UT Austin!
